Sahar Attaripour is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager on the Multi-Asset & Hedge Funds Solutions team. She joined AB in 2022. Attaripour was the co-founder and chief executive officer of Suzugia, an AI-powered investment decisions firm. Together with François Oustry, she incubated a combination of natural language processing and quantitative machine learning algorithms in 2016, which make up the engine behind Suzugia’s investment strategies. In addition to codesign and development of Suzugia’s natural language processing and machine learning models, she applied her wealth of experience in data science and solution design to develop bespoke solutions and new products at Suzugia. Attaripour holds a BA in industrial design from Tehran Alzahra University and an MBA from the University of Southampton, and in the decade since, she has worked as a consultant in the field of innovation and digital transformation, serving large multi-national clients in a broad range of sectors across the UK, Belgium and Italy.
