Erin Bigley is a Senior Vice President, AB’s Chief Responsibility Officer, and a member of the firm’s Operating Committee and Women’s Leadership Council. In this role, she oversees AB’s responsible investing strategy, including integrating material environmental, social and governance considerations throughout the firm’s research, engagement and investment processes. Bigley joined the firm in 1997 and previously served as a portfolio manager and trader for the global and Canadian bond strategies. She spent two years based in London as the global head of Fixed Income Business Development for institutional clients. Bigley served as a fixed-income senior investment strategist for over a decade, and as head of the strategist team from 2018 to 2021. Prior to taking her current role, she served as head of Fixed Income Responsible Investing, overseeing the Fixed Income team’s responsible investing strategy. Bigley holds a BS in civil engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. She is a CFA charterholder. Location: New York
Sasan Doroudian is Head of Taxable Fixed Income Trading. He joined the firm in 2011. Previously at AB, Doroudian oversaw high-yield credit trading as a trader on the Credit Trading team. Before that, he headed the industrial pod at Société Générale, where he helped build out the US corporate bond trading desk. From 2004 to 2008, Doroudian worked as a sector portfolio manager/trader at Sigma Capital Management (part of SAC Capital Advisors), where he helped launch the credit fund. His buy-side experience began in 2000 at UBS Principal Finance, where he managed and traded credit risk in cash and derivative form across sectors in the US and European credit markets. From 1993 to 2000, Doroudian worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co., Credit Suisse and PaineWebber as a sell-side corporate bond trader. He holds a BA in philosophy from Haverford College. James Switzer is a Senior Vice President and Head of Municipal Bonds. He is responsible for driving our municipal bond strategy, including the firm’s innovation efforts within our municipal research, trading and portfolio construction processes, underpinned by best-in-class technology. Switzer has been instrumental in the strategic repositioning of our trading organization and the development of our industry-leading trading tools, ALFA and Abbie. Before joining AB in 2011, he was a managing director at Société Générale, where he managed the Financial Institutions Credit Trading Desk, and at BNP Paribas, where he managed the Investment Grade Trading Desk from 2000 to 2002. Switzer also formerly served as a sector portfolio manager and trader at UBS Principal Finance (from 2002 to 2005) and at Sigma Capital (from 2005 to 2008). Earlier in his career, he worked at Paine Webber and Co.; Kidder, Peabody & Co.; and Alex. Brown & Sons. Switzer holds a BA in biology from Colgate University. Location: New York
