Jodie Tapscott is a Senior Vice President and AB’s Director of Responsible Investing Portfolio Solutions and Strategy for Multi-Asset, Hedge Funds and Private Alternatives. In this role, she develops strategies and tools that help integrate ESG considerations into the teams’ research, engagement and investment processes across AB’s alternative and multi-asset businesses. Previously, Tapscott served as AB’s director of responsible investing strategy. She has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, working across investment management, corporate pensions, wealth management and asset consulting. Prior to joining AB in 2020, Tapscott was the director of client relations and head of Asia Pacific ex Japan at Sustainalytics and the executive manager of responsible investment and corporate responsibility at Colonial First State. She also held portfolio management, manager research and investment governance responsibilities at AMP and AMP Capital from 2012 to 2016, and began her career as an investment consultant with Mercer in 2006. Tapscott holds a BEc in economics and finance from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. She sits on AB’s EMEA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and the UK Investment Association’s Sustainability and Responsible Investing Committee. Tapscott is a global member of 100 Women in Finance and an Australian Ballet Ambassador. Location: London
