Matthew Kearns is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager on the Insurance Portfolio Management team. In this role, Kearns is responsible for overseeing daily portfolio-management activities, including leading the team’s investment process and formulating approaches to navigate accounting and regulatory implications on insurance company portfolios. Since joining AB in 2016, he has served in a variety of roles within the insurance business, spanning business strategy, investment technology and portfolio management. Kearns leverages his diverse background and deep understanding of fixed-income markets and insurance companies to develop solutions for client needs and integrate them throughout the investment process. He holds a BA in finance and economics from Rowan University. Location: New York
