Before joining Themis, Sherwin built and led the Middle East business practice of Synergy Global Consulting, specializing in the oil and gas, mining, and infrastructure sectors. She has worked with a range of clients on CSR- and sustainability-related projects and was instrumental in the establishment of the Arabia CSR Network in the UAE. Sherwin has strong expertise in impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, sustainability-management systems, social investment, community relations, audit and review. She has worked widely across the Middle East and Africa. Sherwin holds an MSc in international development from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies, and an MA in human rights and global ethics, focusing on migrant worker rights in Qatar.
