François Oustry

François Oustry is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager on the Multi-Asset & Hedge Funds Solutions team. He joined AB in 2022. Oustry has been a quant, entrepreneur and portfolio manager since 1998. He was the co-founder and chief investment officer of Suzugia, an AI-powered investment decisions firm. Previously, Oustry ran the systematic solutions team at Millennium Global Investments from 2015 to 2019, managing US$4 billion for institutional investors. From 2001 to 2015, he was the founder and chief executive officer of Raise Partner, a risk analytics firm catering to the asset management industry. Oustry began his career as a research scientist at the National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology. He holds a PhD in convex optimization and applications from Sorbonne University. Oustry is the author of numerous papers and several patents, which have delivered key acceleration techniques for the convergence of deep learning algorithms. Location: London
